Steel, aluminium, cement and fertiliser buyers in the EU now need verified embedded-emissions data. The first annual declaration for 2026 imports is due 30 September 2027.
Listed companies need independent assessment or assurance of BRSR Core figures, and many are asking their suppliers for data to back them up.
